Description
For sale is a circa 2000–2005 Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Perpetual Calendar men’s automatic wristwatch, reference 140.8.80.S. The watch comes with box, papers, and original pusher, but no hangtag. It is 100% original inside and out, running great and keeping accurate time.
Note: The watch comes with papers as shown and mentioned; however, the AD only filled in the buyer’s name and their name. The date of sale was not completed by the AD and is therefore unknown.
Features: Perpetual calendar, push/pull crown, stainless steel case, clasp and buckle, original JLC two-piece brown leather strap, and a Jaeger-LeCoultre Cal. 889/440-2 automatic movement with 50 jewels and approximately 38 hours of power reserve.
Sizing: Approximately 37mm in diameter, 19mm in lug width, 43.3mm from lug-to-lug, and is 9.3mm thick.
Condition: Professionally polished with a light touch-up and was cleaned. The case and buckle have light surface scuffs as you can expect on a pre-owned watch. The leather strap is noticeably worn but remains in fair condition. The clasp opens and closes firmly with no issues. The inner box is in poor condition with flaking leather, as shown in the photos.
