For sale is a circa 1999 A. Lange & Söhne Datograph 403.035 platinum first generation, manual wind men’s wristwatch (ref. 403.035).
About this watch: The watch is 100% original inside and out, and everything pictured with it is authentic A. Lange & Söhne items; however, despite everything shown, the only original item to this watch is the Datograph instruction booklet. The watch is paired with a newer, updated A. Lange & Söhne box and booklets, and includes an additional two-piece A. Lange & Söhne strap. We recently obtained a certificate of origin issued directly by A. Lange & Söhne on 02/11/2026. This document confirms the original details of the watch (model, serial number, etc.) and serves as proof of origin; however, it is not the original warranty paperwork.
Service History: Approximately 2 years ago, the watch was serviced by a Richemont-trained certified watchmaker. We do not have any service receipts, but the watch runs and operates perfectly and will come with a 1-year warranty through us.
Condition: Overall condition is good for its age. The watch has been lightly touched up in the past; surface scratches and fine scuffs are noticeable on the case and buckle. The sapphire crystal is original but has minor surface marks on the AR coating (hard to capture in photos). The current strap fitted on the watch is newer and in good condition with low memory; the extra strap shown in photos is heavily soiled with obvious memory. The booklets and boxes are in good condition overall.
Movement: Caliber L951.1 with 40 jewels, approximately 36 hours of power reserve, 18,000 BPH, flyback.
Sizing: Case measures approximately 39mm in diameter, 47.8mm from lug tip to lug tip, 20mm lug width, and 13mm case thickness.
Features: Platinum case and strap buckle, two-piece black leather strap, push/pull crown, sapphire crystal, luminous hands, luminous indexes at 12, 3, and 9 o’clock on the dial, small seconds hand, and exhibition case back.
