For sale is a vintage 1993 Rolex Daytona reference number 16528 “Zenith,” with a genuine factory Ruby Pavé dial. The watch comes with the original inner and outer box, papers (dated 1999), matching serial hangtag, chronometer hangtag, cloth, and the booklet. The year stated on the papers is later because this watch sat with the Rolex Authorized Dealer for several years before it actually sold in 1999 – so it was technically birthed in 1993. The watch is 100% original inside and out.
The watch just came back from Rolex service directly. Nothing was damaged or broken; it simply received a complete overhaul. It is running very well, keeping accurate time, and functioning exactly as it should with no issues. This watch is backed by Rolex’s manufacturer service warranty until 03/2028.
The case and bezel appear to be unpolished and left in their original vintage state; however, we can confirm the bracelet has been polished in the past. Scratches and scuffs are visible on the case and bracelet, and some deeper scuffs on the bezel. The sapphire crystal is clean and in excellent condition. The bracelet has a total of 11 links (5 removable screws) and will fit up to a 7.25-inch wrist comfortably. The case size is approximately 40mm in diameter, 47.2mm from lug tip to lug tip, 12.2mm in case thickness, and 20mm in lug width.
