For sale is a 1979 Rolex Datejust 36, model/reference number 16013. The watch does not have the original box or papers – as pictured is how it comes. The watch is fitted with an original Rolex Jubilee two-tone 62523H bracelet with a G12 clasp code, meaning this bracelet is dated 1982. The watch is running well, keeping accurate time, and functioning as it should with no issues. For your added peace of mind, we’re backing the watch with a 1-year warranty through our shop. The bracelet has a total of 11 links with 3 removable screws on one side, and 10 links with 2 removable screws on the other side, plus 1 end link on each side.
The watch has a “5 million” serial number, which is how we know the watch dates back to 1979. Please be aware that the case back has a custom inscription.
The watch was professionally polished and cleaned – though, being a vintage pre-owned watch, light surface scratches, scuffs, and small dents on the case are still visible. The acrylic crystal is a non-Rolex crystal and also has some minor fine surface scuffs. The dial has some minor surface scuffs. The lume on the dial and hands no longer glows. The bracelet condition is fair; it has noticeable stretch (sag), as you can expect on a vintage timepiece, and also carries some surface scratches and scuffs.
