Description
For sale is a 1944 Omega US Army Civilian Version Manual Wind Wristwatch, model number 2179/3. This timepiece comes as watch only, fitted with an incorrect stainless steel Bonklip bracelet (not an Omega bracelet).
You can expect various imperfections from previous use and aging. Scratches and scuffs are visible throughout, and the dial shows significant aging with natural patina and areas of corrosion. The movement is functioning properly — we serviced the watch earlier this year, and it has no mechanical issues. For your added peace of mind, this watch comes with a 1-year warranty provided directly through our shop.
The watch features a silver dial with yellow patina and corrosion, original dial and hands, a center seconds hand, a stainless steel case paired with a Bonklip-style bracelet, and a Caliber 30T2SC manual wind movement with 16 jewels.
