For sale is a pre-owned men’s 2001 Rolex Datejust 36mm, reference 16233, with a factory “Tuxedo” dial, also known as a “Tapestry” dial. The watch comes with an authentic vintage Rolex box, chronometer hangtag, and calendar card. It does not have papers, but the year of the watch is known based off it’s “K” serial number.
The watch is fitted with its matching Rolex Jubilee 62523H-18 bracelet in 18k yellow gold and stainless steel, with 455B end links. The DT1 clasp code dates the bracelet to 2001, confirming that it is correct and matches the watch.
The watch is authentic, running well, and functioning properly. It does not need a service and is ready to be worn. For added peace of mind, we’re backing the watch with a one-year warranty through our store.
Condition: The watch was recently professionally polished and cleaned and has not been worn since. However, since it is pre-owned and vintage, it’s not perfect. There are still some signs of wear on the sides of the case, bracelet, and bezel, as shown in the photos. The bracelet also has some noticeable stretch, which can be expected from a pre-owned vintage Jubilee bracelet. The dial, hands, and sapphire crystal all appear clean and in good condition. Please note that the luminous hour plots on the dial and the lume on the hands no longer glow due to age.
Sizing: The case measures approximately 36mm in diameter, 43.6mm from lug tip to lug tip, 20mm in lug width, and 11.5mm in thickness. The bracelet has all of its links with none missing and will fit wrist sizes up to 7.75 inches.
