For sale is a vintage, pre-owned Rolex Day-Date 36mm in 18k yellow gold, also known as the “President.” This is reference 18238, which features a double quickset function that lets you adjust the day and date independently.

The watch comes with a vintage Rolex box and a leather passport/card holder. It does not have its original papers, but its S-prefix serial number dates it to around 1993.

We serviced the watch in October 2026 as part of a routine preventive overhaul. The movement was fully disassembled, cleaned, oiled, timed, and adjusted for accuracy. For added peace of mind, we’re including a one-year warranty through our store.

Condition: The case and bracelet were also polished. This is a pre-owned watch that’s over 30 years old, so you can still expect some minor imperfections throughout. The case is in really nice condition, with long, sharp lugs. The bracelet and bezel show most of the wear, including light scuffs and a few very small dings. The bracelet has a moderate amount of stretch, as pictured. Overall, the watch is in very nice condition and ready to wear.

Sizing: The case measures approximately 36mm across, 43.75mm from lug tip to lug tip, 20mm between the lugs, and 11.7mm thick. The bracelet will fit up to a 7.25-inch wrist, or a 7-inch wrist more comfortably.
