For sale is an unpolished 1987 Rolex Datejust 36, model/reference number 16013, crafted from 18k yellow gold and stainless steel. The watch comes with its Rolex inner and outer boxes, booklets, polishing cloth, and serial-number hangtag. However, the sticker has come off the hangtag, so there is no serial number indicating that it matches this watch.

The watch is fitted with a Rolex Jubilee bracelet in 18k yellow gold and stainless steel, reference 62523H.18, with a J12 clasp code and 455 end links, dating the bracelet to 1985 and confirming that it is period-correct.

The gold on the watch has naturally tarnished with age, giving it a beautiful, almost rose-gold hue. The bracelet has tarnished slightly more than the bezel. As previously mentioned, the watch is also unpolished, which is uncommon among vintage Datejusts that are nearly 40 years old. This has preserved the sharpness of the lugs and clasp, as shown in the photos.

The case and bracelet have normal signs of wear, such as light scratches and scuffs, as well as one small ding on the lower-left lug, as shown in the photos. The dial and hands appear clean and in good cosmetic condition, but neither glow anymore due to age. The acrylic crystal has a few scuffs but still looks good. The watch is no longer water-resistant due to its age.

Sizing: The case measures approximately 36mm in diameter, 44mm from lug tip to lug tip, 20mm between the lugs, and 13mm in thickness. The bracelet fits wrists up to approximately 7 inches.
