For sale is a men’s pre-owned 1983 Rolex Datejust 36, reference/model number 16014.

PLEASE NOTE: The Jubilee dial is genuine Rolex but is not original to this particular watch. It was swapped at some point. The watch is fitted with a new non-Rolex sapphire crystal, replacing the acrylic (plastic) crystal originally fitted to this model. The original 18K white gold fluted bezel has also been replaced with a non-Rolex stainless steel fluted bezel.

The watch has a 749,*** serial number, which dates its production to approximately 1983. It is fitted with a 62510H stainless steel jubilee bracelet with 555 end links. The inside of the clasp has an “E” stamp, indicating an approximate bracelet production year of 1980.

The watch was serviced by us in-house in November 2026 as part of a routine preventive overhaul. During the service, the movement was disassembled, cleaned, oiled, timed, and adjusted for accuracy. The watch runs very well, keeps accurate time, functions properly, and is backed by a 1-year warranty through our store.

Condition: The watch is vintage and pre-owned, so you can expect to see some signs of wear and age. The case has nice, long lugs, with some light scuffs on the sides of the case. The bezel also has some light scuffs. The bracelet links have small scuffs and scratches, and the clasp has a few small but slightly noticeable dings, as shown in the photos. The hands have some patina from age and no longer glow.

Sizing: The case measures approximately 36mm in diameter, 43.8mm from lug-tip to lug-tip, 20mm in lug width, and 11.5mm in thickness. The bracelet fits a wrist up to approximately 7.5 inches.
