For sale is a men’s pre-owned 1979 Rolex Datejust Oysterquartz 36mm, reference 17013. The watch is 100% authentic, runs and functions properly, and is backed by our 1-year warranty. It comes as a watch only.
The watch has a 5 million serial number, dating the case to 1979 production. The bracelet clasp is stamped “VD14” (14th week of 1979), confirming it’s period correct and original to this watch.
Condition: Pre-owned. The watch has been professionally polished and cleaned. As expected for a vintage piece over 40 years old, it still shows light surface scratches and wear on the case and bracelet. The dial is clean overall; however, the luminous hour plots no longer glow due to age. The hands are in good condition, though the seconds hand shows light corrosion. The watch is fully functional with no issues.
Sizing: 36mm case, 24mm integrated bracelet width at the case, and approximately 12.5mm case thickness. The bracelet is missing a few links and will fit up to a 7-inch wrist maximum.
