For sale is a pre-owned men’s Rolex Datejust 36mm, reference 1603, with an original silver pie-pan dial. The watch comes exactly as pictured, with a two-piece non-Rolex leather strap. No box or papers.

The watch has a 2-million serial number and dates it’s year of production to 1971. It is powered by the Rolex caliber 1570 automatic movement with 26 jewels.

We serviced this watch in-house as part of a routine preventive overhaul. During the service, the movement was fully disassembled, cleaned, oiled, timed, and adjusted for accuracy. The watch is running well and functioning properly. For added peace of mind, we’re backing it with a 1-year warranty through our store.

Condition: The watch is vintage and pre-owned, with some signs of wear and age. The case and bezel have light scuffs and a few small dings, but nothing that stands out significantly. The plastic crystal has some minor scuffs that are mostly noticeable under a loupe. The hands show some signs of age, while the dial remains very clean. The lume on the hands and dial plots still glows but fades quickly, as you can expect on a watch 50+ years old. Please review the photos closely, as they provide the best representation of the watch’s condition. Overall, the watch is in nice condition for its age and is ready to wear.

Sizing: The case measures approximately 36mm in diameter, 20mm in lug width, 43.3mm from lug tip to lug tip, and 11.8mm thick.
