1969 Omega Constellation Day-Date CD 168.029 Automatic Gold-Capped Shell Case

$2,400.00

Description

For sale is a vintage pre-owned 1969 Omega Constellation Day-Date Automatic, reference/model number CD 168.029 with a shell case.

The watch comes exactly as pictured – no original box or papers. However, we are including a genuine modern Omega service box free of charge. The exact year of the watch is known based on its serial number.

The watch is signed in six places and features a gold-capped stainless steel case, paired with an Omega five-row brick-style bracelet made by JB Champion, which is gold-filled over stainless steel.

The watch is fitted with its original textured linen dial and original hands. The case back features a solid gold observatory emblem. The date has a quickset function operated by pulling the crown fully out and pushing it back in. Powering the watch is the Omega caliber 751 automatic movement with 24 jewels.

Condition: The watch is vintage and pre-owned, so you can expect to see signs of wear and age. The case and bracelet have scratches and scuff marks throughout, as shown in the photos. The plastic crystal also has numerous scuffs and scratches that are difficult to capture in photographs. The textured dial makes the crystal imperfections less noticeable, but they are present. The dial is very clean overall, while the hands show some signs of age.

Sizing: The case measures approximately 35.5mm in diameter, 40.3mm from lug tip to lug tip, 19mm in lug width, and 11.9mm in case thickness. The bracelet can fit up to a 7.75-inch wrist.

Shipping and returns: Free shipping within the USA. International shipping is $100. The buyer is responsible for any taxes or import fees. Returns are accepted within three days of delivery only if the item is returned in the same condition in which it was sold.
