Description
For sale is a 1964 Benrus Vietnam-era military manual-wind field watch, designated DTU-2A/P and made to U.S. military specification MIL-W-3818B. DTU-2A/P is the military’s name for this watch type, while MIL-W-3818B sets the requirements it was built to meet, including a 17-jewel movement, hacking seconds, and standards for accuracy and durability.
We serviced this watch in 2025 as part of a routine preventive overhaul. Nothing was broken, and no repairs were needed. During the service, the watch was fully disassembled, cleaned, lubricated, timed, and adjusted for accuracy. The watch is running well and functioning properly. It is backed by a one-year warranty through our store.
Condition: This watch is vintage and pre-owned. Please expect noticeable signs of wear and age. The case has some noticeable scuffs, and the plastic crystal has some light scuffs as well. The dial and hands also show some signs of age but are in good condition. The green two-piece fabric strap is like new but is not Benrus made.
Sizing: The case measures approximately 34 mm in diameter, excluding the crown, 41 mm from lug tip to lug tip, 18 mm in lug width, and 11.3 mm in case thickness.
Features: Steel case, plastic crystal, push/pull crown, sweep seconds, and a 12/24-hour dial.
Shipping and returns: Shipping within the United States is free. International shipping costs $100. The buyer is responsible for any applicable taxes or import fees. Returns are accepted within three days, provided the item is returned in the same condition in which it was sold.
