For sale is a men’s pre-owned 1996 Rolex Explorer “I,” model/reference number 14270. The watch comes with its original box and original papers dated December 6, 1997. It was sold approximately one year after it was manufactured, as confirmed by its T-series serial number, which dates its production to approximately 1996.

Bracelet: Please note that the watch is fitted with a later Rolex Oyster bracelet, reference 78360, with 558b end links. The bracelet has an RS2 clasp code, dating it to approximately February 2010.

Condition: The watch is pre-owned and vintage, so you can expect to see scattered signs of wear throughout the case, bracelet, and bezel, including scratches, minor scuffs, and small dents. The original Rolex sapphire crystal was scratched and has been replaced with a brand-new, non-Rolex sapphire crystal. The original scratched Rolex crystal will be included with the watch for the buyer to retain. Despite these cosmetic imperfections, the watch remains in decent overall pre-owned condition and is ready to be worn. It has no mechanical issues, and the baton hour markers on the dial and hands glow properly.

Sizing: The case measures approximately 36mm in diameter, 20mm between the lugs, 11.25mm in thickness, and 43.6mm from lug tip to lug tip. The bracelet can accommodate a wrist measuring up to approximately 7.5 inches. However, due to the watch’s overall dimensions, it may be better suited for wrists under 7.25 inches.
