For sale is a 1977 Tudor Big Block Monte Carlo automatic 40mm wristwatch, model/reference number 9430/0. The watch has been left in its original vintage state and is unpolished. It comes exactly as pictured with the original inner and outer boxes, original reference number sticker, and original matching serialized hangtag. The watch does not have papers. The watch has a 872,*** serial number.
The watch is 100% authentic and features an exotic dial, a Rolex 93150 stainless steel bracelet with a “G” clasp stamp (1982) and 580 end links, a Rolex-signed screw back case, and a Rolex-signed screw down crown. Powering the watch is a Valjoux 7750 automatic movement with 17 jewels.
The service history on the watch is unknown. However, we can assure you that the watch is running accurately and properly as it should with no issues, and it comes with a 1-year warranty through our store.
Condition: As mentioned earlier, the watch has been left in its original unpolished vintage state, so you can expect to see noticeable signs of wear, including scratches, scuffs, and minor dents on the case, bezel, and bracelet. The acrylic crystal also has some surface-level scuffs. The bracelet has slight stretch (sag), as you would expect from a vintage pre-owned timepiece. Please note that the lume is no longer active due to the watch being nearly 50 years old.
Sizing: The case is approximately 40mm in diameter, 20mm in lug width, 14.1mm thick, and 47.9mm from lug tip to lug tip. The bracelet can fit up to a 7.75-inch wrist. If you use the diver’s extension clasp, the bracelet can extend to fit up to an 8.75-inch wrist.
