Description
For sale is a mens vintage circa 1966 Enicar Sherpa Guide MK3 Manual wind chronograph. The model number is 072-02-01. The watch features a round stainless steel case, original thick acrylic crystal, screw in back, signed crown, hand made leather strap (non Enicar), and a caliber Valjoux (R) 72 movement with 17 jewels. The watch measures approximately 40 mm in diameter without the crown, by 49 mm lug tip to tip, 20 mm lugs, and a case thickness to 13.9 mm.
The watch runs good and keeps time within 4-6 seconds per day. The chronograph starts, stops and resets properly. The hands line up properly. The acrylic crystal is original, and was polished so it looks like new. The case has some fine surface scratches. It was at some point polished. We acquired it as it is now and left the watch alone. The hands and dial are original and untouched. The lume has darkened and aged. The hands have minor rust and corrosion stains. Overall condition is good for this watch.
