For sale is a vintage 1940’s Swiss made Chronograph JNO mono pusher manual wind chronograph. It features a nickel case (chrome plated), snap bezel, and back, acrylic crystal, original dial and hands, telemeter scale, and a caliber Landeron 13 movement with 17 jewels. There are a few other watches listed as “Landeron 13” movements online as of the time of this listing but they are not, they are other variations of the Landeron movement. The model reference number on the exterior of the case back is 2443 (which I do not think it has anything to do with Heuer). The watch measures 40 mm in diameter without the crown, 45.6 mm lug tip to tip, has 20 mm wide lugs, and a case thickness of 12.15 mm.
The watch runs proper and keeps good time. The chronograph when it is started runs for a few seconds and then it stops the watch from running. This doesn’t always happen but when it does it just seems to run sluggish or slow down the watch entirely before stopping it. As soon as the chronograph is stopped, and re-set to “12”, the watch starts immediately and runs perfect. There’s nothing broken, and doesn’t seem worn out, but will need a service. The start, stop, and reset function work properly (besides the afore mentioned problem). The hands re-set properly. The dial and hands have aged. The crown has wear. The case has scratches. Free shipping in the USA. Shipping outside of the USA is $30.
