Description
For sale is a mens vintage circa 1965-1970 Favre-Leuba Deep Blue Aqua Lung US Divers automatic dual date wristwatch. The model/reference number is 59973. The watch features a large stainless steel case, screw in back, original signed crown, thick mineral glass crystals held down by a screw ring, bi directional rotating bezel, black hands with lume, center seconds hand, original orange dial, new rubber strap (non Favre-Leuba), and a caliber FL1134 movement with 17 jewels (AS 1687/88). The watch measures 43 mm in width without the crown, by 48.5 mm lug tip to tip, has 23 mm wide lugs, and a case thickness of 15.5 mm.
The watch was just serviced by us, it is in good working order, and keeps time within approximately 8 seconds per day. For your peace of mind it will come with a one year warranty. The case has some surface scuffs and a few scratches but has never been polished. The strap is new. The crystal is original and has some fine scratches. The dial and hands are in great condition, original and untouched. The disc with the 1-31 numbers has some issues. Some of the numbers are completely faded, and some partially faded. Approximately 9 of those numbers are affected. It can be refinished but we wanted to leave everything original. It’s one of the best examples we’ve ever seen of this model. Free shipping in the USA. Shipping outside of the USA is $50.
