Description
For sale is a mens vintage 1971 Japan made Seiko Automatic dual date chronograph wristwatch. The watch was serviced by us and comes with a one year warranty. The bracelet is a Seiko bracelet but I am not sure from what model and it appears to be modern. The watch has a steel case, screw in back, new mineral glass crystal, blue dial, black inner rotating bezel (chapter ring), silver hands with luminous, red chronograph hands, silver tone applied hour markers with luminous, fixed tachymeter “Pepsi” bezel, and a caliber 6139A movement with 17 jewels. The watch will fit wrist sizes of up to 7.75 inches with the current bracelet. The back of the watch was polished but the rest was never polished.
The watch was serviced in our shop and works properly as it should. The crystal is a new replacement. The bezel has many dings and bumps. The insert also has many dings bumps and scratches. The hands are all original. The hour and minute hands have minor corrosion stains and darkened lume. The dial is original and the lume has darkened and matches the hands. The dial has one long scratch extending from the center. The inner rotating bezel has some fading especially on the triangle and some of the numbers. The case has dings and bumps and the back was severely over polished. The Seiko bracelet is modern and I do not know what model it came from. The watch keeps proper time. The chronograph functions work properly. The inner bezel rotates properly. The date function works properly. Did I miss anything?
