For sale is a mens vintage 1973 Tudor Prince Oysterdate automatic wristwatch. The model/reference number is 9101/0. It is a hard to find model. It features a plastic crystal with cyclops, original blue dial, silver tone hands, center seconds hand, quickset date function, screwdown original Rolex crown, stainless steel case with screwdown back, original stainless steel integrated bracelet, and a caliber ETA 2784 movement with 25 jewels (signed “Tudor”). The movement has a power reserve of 45 hours and a bph of 28800. The watch measures approximately 38 mm in diameter without the crown, by 37 mm lug tip to tip, has a lug width of 23 mm (at the widest point), and a case thickness of 12.25 mm. It will fit wrist sizes of up to 6.75 inches.
The watch was just serviced, it is running properly and keeps accurate time. The case and bracelet have never been polished. They can be polished upon request for no additional charge. The case and bracelet have scratches. The clasp has a dent. The dial has some bleeding starting to appear in the form of a spot between the “9” hour marker and the center of the dial. There is also some similar bleeding of the color around the calendar window and on the inner bezel chapter ring. The crystal is original and was polished and looks perfect.
